Express: Bank of England under pressure to cut interest rates before General Election:

A decision by the European Central Bank to cut its key interest rate by 0.25 percent has triggered hopes the Bank of England will follow suit within weeks.

Housing is a key battleground in the general election with both the Conservatives and Labour making ledges to help young people get on the property ladder.
